Contest Description:
Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to enter the Lottery's Home is Where the Fun is! website promotion for a chance to win a Louisiana Fun prize package.
 
How to Enter:
Beginning Monday, March 18, eligible participants are invited to upload an original photo of themselves showing off their favorite thing to do for fun in Louisiana along with a description of the activity and the location in Louisiana for a chance to win a Louisiana Fun prize package. Examples include but are not limited to a photo of yourself hunting or fishing, attending a sporting event, visiting your favorite Louisiana festival or cooking your favorite Louisiana dish. No stock photos, please.

Prize packages will include a crawfish tray, a Lottery T-shirt, two koozies, a duffle bag, a water bottle, a 2024 calendar and $15 in Louisiana Family scratch-offs.
 
Entries must be submitted electronically via the entry form on the Lottery's website before 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 29. To view the form, visit: www.louisianalottery.com/la-family. No entries will be accepted in person, by mail or through any other method. Only one entry per person is allowed. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the promotion.
 
Inappropriate or offensive comments or photos will be deleted and not considered as entries.
 
Prizes:
Winners will receive a Louisiana Lottery Louisiana Fun prize package that will include a crawfish tray, a Lottery T-shirt, two koozies, a duffle bag, a water bottle, a 2024 calendar and $15 in Louisiana Family scratch-offs.
 
Prizes have no cash value. In the unlikely event the Lottery is unable to fulfill a stated prize due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize(s) of equal or greater value will be substituted at the Lottery's sole discretion.
 
Winner Selection and Notification:
Ten (10) winners will be randomly selected from the field of entries to receive a Louisiana Fun prize package. Winners photos will be posted and used for advertising the Louisiana family scratch-off tickets on the Lottery's social media accounts.
 
Winners will be notified by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 1 via email using the email address they provided on the website form while entering.
 
The winners have two business days after any form of attempted communication by the Lottery to verify their eligibility status or their prize will be forfeited; the Lottery may, at its discretion, assign an alternate winner in those cases.
 
Eligibility:
This promotion is open to Louisiana residents at least 21 years of age. Residency and age will be verified. The following individuals are excluded from participating in Louisiana Lottery promotions:
  • Any member of the Board of Directors, officer or employee of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
  • Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any Louisiana Lottery employee, officer or member of the Board of Directors.
  • Any employee of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2024 calendar year. This includes but is not limited to advertising agencies, gaming system vendors, printers, auditors, promotional product suppliers, etc.
  • Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2024 calendar year.
Any person who falls into one of the categories listed above or who does not meet the age and residency requirements will be deemed ineligible to participate.

Acknowledgments:
All contest entrants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery's interpretation of them in executing the contest.
 
In addition, entrants agree to participate in the Lottery's publicity efforts in conjunction with this contest, including but not limited to photo publication, press releases, interviews and media coverage.
 
Entrants also acknowledge that in matters of administering the contest, the decisions of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation are binding and final.
 
All contest entrants attest that they are submitting an original photo that is not copied in whole or in part from any work other than their own. Contest entrants agree their photo does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other proprietary rights of any person or entity, and that their photo is their sole, exclusive work.
 
All participants entering this contest agree to grant the Louisiana Lottery royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive rights to display, distribute, reproduce, modify and create derivative works of the entries for any purpose, trade, advertising, promotional or otherwise and in any electronic, print or other media (now existing or subsequently developed) the Lottery chooses, now or at any time in the future, should their entry be selected as a contest winner. In addition, all entrants agree to participate in the Lottery's publicity efforts in conjunction with this contest, including but not limited to photo publication.
 
The Louisiana Lottery will not be required to pay any additional costs or seek additional approval in connection with such aforementioned uses. Once submitted, all entries become the property of the Louisiana Lottery.
 
Entrants also acknowledge that in matters of administering the contest, the decisions of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation are binding and final. All contest entrants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery's interpretation of them in executing the contest.
 
If a dispute arises over the identity of a participant who submitted an entry, the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the entry will be deemed the participant.

The Louisiana Lottery is solely responsible for conducting and administering this contest. The Louisiana Lottery shall have no responsibility or liability for any actual or claimed harm that may arise due to promotional materials or prizes. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Facebook or the Louisiana Lottery Corporation and its promotional partners.
 
The Louisiana Lottery is not responsible or liable for any error, omission or any technical problem related to its promotions, including but not limited to entries and submissions, website problems, applications problems, Internet problems or problems with a participant's computer. If for some reason a promotion is not capable of running as originally planned, the Lottery has the right to modify, suspend or cancel all or any portion of the promotion's rules.
 
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and their affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in their promotions or the prizes awarded. These social platforms have not offered or sponsored Lottery promotions in any way.
