Contest Description:
Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to enter the Lottery’s Wish List Twitter Promotion for a chance to win a Lottery holiday prize package. Prize packages will include a selfie stick, 2017 Lottery magnetic calendar, Powerball stress ball and a full set of holiday scratch-off tickets!

How to Enter:
From Dec. 5-9, retweet the Lottery’s designated Tweet with your wish and include the hashtag #100kwishlist for a chance to win a Lottery holiday prize package. Your tweet must be publically viewable in the #100kwishlist stream for it to be entered. Entries may be submitted electronically before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9.

No entries will be accepted via email, in person, by mail or through any other method. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the promotion. Unkind or inappropriate tweet entries will be disqualified.

Winner Selection and Notification:
Ten (10) winners will be randomly selected from valid entries in the #100kwishlist Twitter stream and notified via a tweet mentioning their Twitter handle and via direct message to their account. Winners have two business days after such notification to contact the Lottery on Twitter to claim their prize.

Eligibility:
The Louisiana Lottery’s Wish ListTwitterpromotion is open to Louisiana residents at least 21 years of age. Residency and age will be verified prior to announcing winners.  The following individuals are excluded from participating in Louisiana Lottery promotions:

  • Any member of the Board of Directors, officer or employee of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
  • Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any Louisiana Lottery employee, officer or member of the Board of Directors.
  • Any employee of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2016 calendar year. This includes but is not limited to advertising agencies, gaming system vendors, printers, auditors, promotional product suppliers, etc.
  • Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2016 calendar year.

Any person who falls into one of the categories listed above or who does not meet the age and residency requirements will be deemed ineligible to participate.

Prizes:
Winners and their tagged friends will each receive a Lottery holiday prize package, including a selfie stick, 2017 Lottery magnetic calendar, Powerball stress ball and a full set of holiday scratch-off tickets ($20 worth)!

The prize has no cash value and is nontransferable.  In the unlikely event the Lottery is unable to fulfill a stated prize due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize(s) of equal or greater value will be substituted at the Lottery's sole discretion.

Acknowledgments:
All contest entrants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery’s interpretation of them in executing the contest.

If a dispute arises over the identity of a participant who submitted an entry, the authorized account holder Twitter handle associated with the entry will be deemed the participant.

Entrants also acknowledge that in matters of administering the contest, the decisions of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation are binding and final.

The Louisiana Lottery is not responsible or liable for any error, omission or any technical problem related to its promotions, including but not limited to entries and submissions, website problems, applications problems, Internet problems or problems with a participant's computer. If for some reason a promotion is not capable of running as originally planned, the Lottery has the right to modify, suspend or cancel all or any portion of the promotion's rules.
