Stanley Pipkin was cleaning up and searching through paperwork when he found a Lotto ticket he purchased for the April 26, 2006 drawing. To his surprise, the ticket was worth $2,340, which he claimed at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Shreveport office.

Stanley matched five of the six Lotto numbers drawn that night to win his prize. By law, players have 180 days to claim a prize from a Lotto drawing.
He purchased his winning ticket at Raceway #6801 on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport.
