The nation's preeminent showcase for African American musical talent, the ESSENCE Music Festial, also brings to New Orleans an A-list of distinguished speakers on the subjects of empowerment and the African American experience. Sponsored by ESSENCE magazine, the festival brings thousands of visitors to New Orleans every year and features rewnowned speakers and performers.
