Carpenter's ticket matched four of the white balls drawn plus the red Powerball to win $10,000.  He purhased the $1 Power Play option and multiplied his winnings five times when the "5" multiplier was selected, for a total of $50,000.

He purchased his winning ticket at York U-Pak-It on New Monroe Road in Bastrop.
