"I scratched the ticket when I got in the car, but I hadn't scratched it all the way," said Bynum, age 42. "One of the winning numbers was 16, and I thought I had a 6! I decided to scratch the whole area even though I thought I hadn't won. When I realized it was a top prize winning ticket, I had to turn the air conditioner all the way up in the car!"
Bynum said she then took the ticket to the salon she owns and had the ladies who work there look over the ticket too.
She purchased her top prize winning ticket at Brusly Chevron on Highway 1 in Port Allen. |
