Rita purchased her winning ticket at Gaubert Food Mart on East Bayou Road in Thibodaux.

She played her numbers as a "box" set, which meant that they could match the numbers drawn in any order to win $800 on a $1 play.

"It feels good to win.  It's exciting!" she said.  Rita said she's previously won playing scratch-offs games.
