Conner purchased his winning ticket at Save A Dollar Food Store on Claire Avenue in Gretna.
He played his numbers as a "straight/box" set, which meant that they could match the numbers drawn in any order to win a prize or exact order to win $2,600 on a $1 play.
Conner says that he has previously won $2,700 playing Pick 4 in 2005.
