Danna, who works as a clerk at Tickfaw Pit Stop on Highway 442 in Tickfaw, purchased her winning ticket there.
"I was so excited when I found out I won! The first person I called was our Lottery customer service representative and she gave me directions to the office in Baton Rouge. She was very excited, too!" she said. "We often do Lottery promotions with her and our customers enjoy playing the Lottery."
She played her numbers as a "straight/box" set, which meant that her numbers could match the numbers drawn in any order to win a prize or exact order to win $2,700 on a $1 play. Danna said she used her finance's birthday when choosing her numbers.
