Ruth purchased her winning ticket at On The Go on Prospect Boulevard in Houma.

"My husband, Albert, picked the numbers," she said.

She played her ticket as a "straight/box" set, which meant that her numbers could match the numbers drawn in any order or exact order to win $2,700 on a $1 play.

"I'm taking all my grandkids to Blue Bayou Water Park!" she said.  Ruth also said she's previously won playing Pick 4.
