$1,000,000 Spectacular Drawing

Ladies and Gentleman the date is set for the Louisiana Lottery's $1,000,000 Spectacular Drawing!

You're invited to witness the making of a Louisiana Lottery millionaire during the $1,000,000 Spectacular Drawing to be held April 27 in downtown Baton Rouge.

The $1,000,000 Spectacular Drawing is going to be the biggest lottery event of the season hosted by the red-carpet interviewer and game-show host Todd Newton. The E! Entertainment celebrity also starred in the Lottery's $1,000,000 Spectacular TV commercial and hosted the Powerball Instant Millionaire game show.

The Lottery will conduct the second-chance drawing for the $1 million top prize during intermission at the Baton Rouge Downtown Merchants Association's "Live After Five" concert on Friday, April 27, 2007.  The free concert, featuring the band After 8, begins at 5 p.m. with the $1,000,000 Spectacular Drawing to occur at 6:30 p.m.

To be eligible for the second-chance drawing, nonwinning $1,000,000 Spectacular tickets must be received at the drawing address on the back of the ticket by April 2.  Then on April 4, five finalists will be drawn to compete for the $1 million prize during the $1,000,000 Spectacular Drawing on April 27.

One finalist will win $1 million and each of the other four finalists will win $5,000. The $1 million prize is an annuity payable in 20 annual installments of $50,000. The winner also has the option of choosing a single cash payment of $670,000. All prizes are subject to required withholdings.

Lottery tickets purchasers and second-chance drawing entrants must be at least 21 years of age. All nonwinning second-chance drawing entries will be destroyed after the finalist drawing.

Send in your nonwinning $1,000,000 Spectacular scratch-offs to the following drawing address shown on the back of the ticket.

Entries must be received at this address by April 2, 2007 to be eligible for the drawing.

Each entry must have a legible name, address and telephone number on the back of the ticket. Only one individual's name per entry/ticket will be accepted. You can enter as many times as you like, but each entry must be mailed in a separate envelope.

Send your entry in an envelope no larger than 4.5" by 9.5" (The ticket will need to be folded.) You can also use special preaddressed envelopes available in the play cener at your favorite Lottery retailer.
