Louisiana Lottery's 2012 Holiday Scratch-Off Promotional Rules

Contest Description:
Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to submit entries for the Louisiana Lottery's 2012 Holiday Scratch-Off Promotion on Twitter for a chance to win a Holiday Cheer Package. Entries will be accepted only through Twitter on the following dates: Monday, Dec. 3; Wednesday, Dec. 5; and Friday, Dec. 7, 2012.

In order to enter, participants must follow the Lottery on Twitter and send the Lottery a tweet that includes a gift-giving idea for the Lottery's 2012 holiday scratch-off games and the #LALotteryCheer hashtag. One winner will be randomly selected from the field of entries submitted for each of the three promotions for a total of three winners.

How to Enter:
Beginning at 9 a.m. on the specified promotion days, Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to tweet the Lottery with gift-giving ideas for the Lottery's 2012 holiday scratch-off games. Multiple entries per person are allowed but a winner may win only one Holiday Cheer Package. Entries must include the #LALotteryCheer hashtag and must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the following dates: Monday, Dec. 3; Wednesday, Dec. 5; and Friday, Dec. 7, 2012.

All contest participants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery's interpretation of them in executing the contest.

Judging:
One entry will be randomly selected by Lottery personnel from the field of entries submitted for each of the three promotions for a total of three winners.

Winner Notification:
Winners will be notified via a direct message on Twitter on the following days: Tuesday, Dec. 4; Thursday, Dec. 6; Monday, Dec. 10. Winners have two business days after any form of attempted communication by the Lottery to verify their eligibility status or their prize will be forfeited; the Lottery may, at its discretion, assign an alternate winner in those cases. Once confirmed, winners will be announced by the Lottery on Twitter.

Prizes:
Three winners will receive a Holiday Cheer Package including the following merchandise: $5 worth of Crazy Gift Cash scratch-offs, $4 worth of Happy Holidays scratch-offs, $4 worth of Bah Humbucks scratch-offs and other Lottery branded merchandise.

Terms and Conditions:
All entrants must be at least 21 years of age and residents of Louisiana.

Entrants agree to participate in the Lottery's publicity efforts in conjunction with this promotion, including but not limited to having their entry "retweeted" by the Lottery, tweets and photo publication.

The prize has no cash value and is nontransferable.  The Lottery reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value in the event that any portion of prize is unable to be fulfilled. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the contest.  

The Louisiana Lottery is not responsible or liable for any error, omission or any technical problem related to this contest, including but not limited to entries and submissions, website problems, applications problems, Internet problems or problems with a participant's computer.  If for some reason the contest is not capable of running as originally planned, the Lottery has the right to modify, suspend or cancel all or any portion of the Contest Rules.
