Louisiana Lottery's Send Scrooge Some Holiday Cheer Promotional Rules

Contest Description:
Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to submit entries for the Louisiana Lottery's Send Scrooge Some Holiday Cheer promotion on Facebook for a chance to win a Holiday Cheer Package.

Entries will be accepted only through the Lottery's official "Louisiana Lottery Contest Promotions" application on Facebook on the following dates: Dec. 10-12, 2012. In order to enter, fans must tell the Lottery how they would send Scrooge some holiday cheer. Up to 15 entries will be randomly selected as the winners.

How to Enter:
Eligible participants can submit one entry per day during the Lottery's Send Scrooge Some Holiday Cheer promotion. To be considered, entries must be submitted electronically through the Lottery's official "Louisiana Lottery Contest Promotions" application on Facebook by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Participation requires the user to "Like" the Louisiana Lottery on its Facebook page and to accept the application.  No entries will be accepted in person, by mail or through any method other than the Lottery's designated Facebook application.

All required information on the contest entry form must be completed in full, and entries may not be changed or altered once submitted.  Incomplete or inappropriate entries will be disqualified at the Lottery's sole discretion. 

All contest participants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery's interpretation of them in executing the contest.

Judging:
Up to 15 entries will be randomly selected by Lottery personnel from the field of entries submitted, with a minimum of 5 winners. If the Lottery receives at least 200 promotion entries, there will be a total of 10 winners. If the Lottery receives at least 300 promotion entries, there will be a total of 15 winners.

Winner Notification:
Winners will be selected and notified via the email address and/or phone number provided with their entry on Thursday, Dec. 13. Winners have two business days after any form of attempted communication by the Lottery to verify their eligibility status or their prize will be forfeited; the Lottery may, at its discretion, assign an alternate winner in those cases. Once confirmed, winners will be announced on the Lottery's Facebook page.

Prizes:
Up to 15 winners will be selected to receive a Holiday Cheer Package including the following merchandise: $5 worth of Crazy Gift Cash scratch-offs, $4 worth of Happy Holidays scratch-offs, $4 worth of Bah Humbucks scratch-offs and other Lottery branded merchandise.

Terms and Conditions:
All entries are subject to the terms and conditions accepted by the entrants when installing the Lottery's official "Louisiana Lottery Contest Promotions" application.  All entrants must be at least 21 years of age and residents of Louisiana.

Entrants agree to participate in the Lottery's publicity efforts in conjunction with this promotion, including but not limited to having their entry shared on the Lottery's Facebook page, Facebook posts and photo publication.

The prize has no cash value and is nontransferable.  The Lottery reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value in the event that any portion of prize is unable to be fulfilled. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the contest.  

The Louisiana Lottery is not responsible or liable for any error, omission or any technical problem related to this contest, including but not limited to entries and submissions, website problems, applications problems, Internet problems or problems with a participant's computer.  If for some reason the contest is not capable of running as originally planned, the Lottery has the right to modify, suspend or cancel all or any portion of the Contest Rules.
