8/03/2011 - 12:14 PM Kenner Resident Claims $325,000 Lotto Jackpot Jorge Pesantes of Kenner claimed the sole jackpot-winning ticket worth $325,000 from the July 30 Lotto drawing by the Louisiana Lottery.Pesantes purchased his winning ticket from Super D Food Mart on West Esplanade Avenue in Kenner. The retailer will receive a one-time bonus of $3,250 or one percent of the jackpot prize, for selling Pesantes his winning ticket. Pesantes, age 70, received $227,502 after state and federal taxes were withheld. The winning numbers for the July 30 Lotto drawing were 07-11-22-24-28-36. Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. The Lottery encourages anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help. For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
