Chance shared that he had already planned the trip before winning the $100,000 top prize. "I was planning to visit my brother there next year," explained Chance, age 68. "This money will help me a lot." "I played Extreme 13 because I like the game and I've played it several times in the past," he added. "I won $100 just last week." Chance purchased his top-prize winning ticket from E-Z Stop on Highway 6 in Natchitoches. Extreme 13 was a $5 game that featured the chance to win up to 15 times on each ticket. The game closed on March 21 after all top prizes from the game were claimed, according to Lottery policy. Players have until July 19 to claim any outstanding prizes from Extreme 13. Players must be at least 21 years old to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867 for help.
