Rayne Resident Claims Final $100,000 Top Prize from Right on the Money

Timmie Julian, along with a friend, claims a $100,000 top prize from a “Right on the Money” scratch-off at the Lottery’s Lafayette office.
Timmie Julian, along with a friend, claims a $100,000 top prize from a “Right on the Money” scratch-off at the Lottery’s Lafayette office.
When Timmie Julian of Rayne checked the Lottery's website and noticed the Right on the Money scratch-off game had only one top prize remaining, he had a feeling he should purchase a ticket.  That feeling paid off in a big way when the Right on the Money ticket he purchased turned out to be that final $100,000 top prize winner.

"This money will be passed through my hands and right to a good cause," explained Julian.  "Winning this money was truly a blessing and it came at the right time."

Julian, age 40, purchased his winning scratch-off from Shop Rite #35 on The Boulevard in Rayne.  He shared that he previously won $1,000 from a crossword-style scratch-off purchased at the same store.

Players are encouraged to visit the "scratch-off" page on the Lottery's website, www.louisianalottery.com, to view complete details about current games including the number of prizes remaining and approximate overall odds of winning for each prize level.

Right on the Money is a $5 game that features the chance to win 15 times on each ticket. The game closed on Feb. 22 after all top prizes from the game were claimed.  Players have until June 21, 2011 to claim any outstanding prizes from Right on the Money.

Persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket.  Anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem are encouraged to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867. For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their ticket immediately after purchasing.
