Lottery Announces No Lotto, Easy 5, Pick 3 or Pick 4 Drawings on Christmas Day The Louisiana Lottery Corporation announced that there will be no Lotto, Easy 5, Pick 3 or Pick 4 drawings on Saturday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day. Tickets purchased after the draw close on Dec. 24 will be good for the next regularly scheduled drawing on Sunday, Dec. 26 for Pick 3 and Pick 4, and on Wednesday, Dec. 29 for Lotto and Easy 5. Tickets will reflect the appropriate draw date.
Because there will be no drawing on Christmas Day, advance plays on Pick 3 and Pick 4 will not be accepted for Thursday. Also, any Lotto, Easy 5, Pick 3 or Pick 4 multidraw ticket is good for the number of draws remaining on the ticket with the draw date of Dec. 25 excluded. According to Lottery policy, no drawings for Louisiana-based games take place on Christmas Day or Easter Sunday. However, the drawing for the multi-state game Powerball will take place on Saturday, Dec. 25 as scheduled. Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. Players are reminded to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing for security purposes. More information about Louisiana Lottery games and drawings can be found on its Web site.
