Monroe Man Speechless After Winning $100,000

David Wilson of Monroe was speechless when he realized he was holding a $100,000 top-prize winning $100,000 Cash scratch-off from the Louisiana Lottery.
"I brought the ticket to my wife, but I couldn't even talk," said Wilson. "Once she realized I won, she couldn't stop jumping up and down."
Wilson, age 49, purchased his winning scratch-off from Circle K 7760 on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Monroe. He shared that he plans to use his winnings to purchase a new car and put the rest toward a new house.
$100,000 Cash is a $5 game that features 15 chances to win on each ticket. The game has three $100,000 top prizes remaining as of today.
Persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket. Anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem are encouraged to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867. For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
