"Play it Cool" With the Summer's Hottest Concerts!

The Louisiana Lottery is partnering with the House of Blues and WDSU to give players a chance to save money on some of the summer's hottest concerts!

The "Play it Cool" Summer Concert Series is part of the Lottery's overarching sponsorship of the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

This summer, players can present five nonwinning Lottery tickets at the House of Blues box office and receive half-off admission to select concerts.  The name "Play it Cool" was chosen to tie in with the Lottery's second-chance drawing summer promotion which runs throughout July.

Lottery President Rose Hudson is featured in a TV commercial promoting the "Play it Cool" Summer Concert Series.  You can also find out more about the concert series by clicking here.

The next show is Friday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m.  Check out Chris Duhon's Stand Tall Foundation Presents The Dynamic Duo of Comedy - JJ Williamson & Debra Terry.

In addition to the concert promotion, the Lottery conducted a retailer trailer promotion July 2-3 during the Essence Music Festival at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
