5/12/2010 - 8:25 AM Lottery and Hornets Offer Fans a Shot at Cheap Season Tickets
The Hornets' "Pay the Pick" promotion, sponsored by the Louisiana Lottery, will give fans a chance to pay as little as $1 per ticket per game for season tickets in select seat locations based on results from the 2010 NBA Draft Lottery. To be eligible, fans must place an initial payment of $100 per seat from now until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18. Those fans will be able to purchase season tickets at a per game price equal to the number pick the Hornets receive in the NBA Draft Lottery. For example, if the Hornets land the No. 1 pick, season tickets in "Pay the Pick" seat locations would be $1 per ticket per game; if the team gets pick No. 2, tickets would be $2 per ticket per game; pick No. 11 would make season tickets $11 per ticket per game, etc. Fans can place an initial payment by visiting Hornets.com or by calling 504-525-HOOP. This offer is available only in select seat locations while supplies last. Fans will also have a chance to win a Hornets Draft Party VIP experience with the Louisiana Lottery's "Predict Our Pick." From now until Tuesday, May 18 at 6 p.m., fans can go online at Hornets.com to predict the Draft pick the Hornets will receive. A winner will be drawn from all correct online entrants for the chance to win a Draft Party VIP experience including a $200 bar and food tab and a meet-and-greet with the Hornets Draft pick at his introductory press conference in New Orleans. The 2010 NBA Draft Lottery will take place on Tuesday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN and will determine the order of selection for the first 14 picks of the NBA Draft. More News |
