"My stepfather told me that this was going to be a good year for me," explained Nickerson, age 31.  "First, I found out that I'm expecting, then I celebrated my golden birthday and now, I won $10,000!"

Nickerson, who resides in Youngsville, shared that she usually enjoys playing the Lottery's bingo-style games, but she decided to give Lucky Gold a try instead.  She purchased her top-prize winning scratch-off at Eddie's One Stop on West Veteran's Memorial Drive in Erath.

Lucky Gold is a $2 scratch-off that offers the chance to win up to 10 times on each ticket. There are two remaining top prizes as of Feb 28.
