Barnes said he plans to use his winnings to purchase a car for himself and move his family to a new house. He joked that he may even "splurge" on lunch for his family on their ride back to Napoleonville. Barnes received $60,063 after federal and state taxes were withheld. He shared that until recently he usually only played Powerball, but he decided to give Easy 5 a try. Barnes purchased his winning ticket at Diamond Jim's Truck Stop on Highway 1 in Labadieville. The store will receive a one-time selling bonus of $858 or 1 percent of the jackpot prize. The winning numbers for the Jan. 16 Easy 5 drawing were 5-10-12-19-30. Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. Draw-style game tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
