Mary S. Johnson's love of bingo-style scratch-off games paid off in a big way when she claimed a $30,000 top prize from a Bingo! ticket.
"I kept winning smaller amounts for years," said Johnson, age 52. "This time I finally won the big prize."
Johnson, who resides in Ethel, said she has no immediate plans for her winnings besides treating herself to a steak dinner.
She purchased her winning scratch-off from Danny's 2 Go on Highway 19 in Slaughter.
Bingo! is a $3 game that features five bonus bingo numbers on each ticket. The game has one $30,000 top prize remaining as of Nov. 16.
