Loranger Resident Claims Half of the $275,000 Lotto Jackpot from the June 13 Drawing

Patsy Baudouin of Loranger claimed her half of the $275,000 Lotto jackpot from the June 13 drawing. Her ticket was one of two that contained all six winning numbers for Saturday's drawing. The other ticket, purchased in New Orleans, was also recently claimed. 

Baudouin's half of the prize was $137,500 and she received $96,250 after federal and state taxes were withheld. The winning numbers were 2-9-20-30-35-36.

She purchased her winning ticket from Tallo's Seafood on Hwy. 1062 in Loranger. Tallo's Seafood will receive a bonus of $1,375 or 1 percent of the prize, for selling a jackpot-winning ticket.

Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age.  Draw-style game tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.  Anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem should call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help.  For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
