Clerk Picks Winning Scratch-off for Vinton Woman

Rosa Comeaux of Vinton got help in selecting the ticket that won her the last $10,000 top prize from a Louisiana Lottery Shamrock Shuffle scratch-off game.
"I let the store clerk help me pick which game to play," said Comeaux, age 53. "I feel good!"
Comeaux purchased her winning ticket from Tobacco Plus #5 on Old Highway 90 in Vinton.
According to Louisiana Lottery policy, a scratch-off game is closed and removed from sale when all top prizes for the game have been claimed. All top prizes from Shamrock Shuffle have been claimed, and the game closed March 6. The last day to redeem prizes from the game is July 3.
Players must be at least 21 years old to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867 for help. For security purposes, the Lottery also encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing. A list of current scratch-off games and prizes remaining can be found on the Lottery's Web site, www.louisianalottery.com.
