Vivian Resident Claims $325,000 Lotto Jackpot From Oct. 1 Drawing

Carolyn Wilder of Vivian was the sole winner of the $325,000 Lotto jackpot from the Oct. 1 drawing.
Wilder purchased her winning ticket from Dub's Corner at 120 S. Pine St. in Vivian. Dub's Corner will receive a one-time bonus of $3,250, or one percent of the jackpot prize, for selling Wilder her winning ticket.
Wilder, age 56, received $227,500 after state and federal taxes were withheld.
The winning numbers for the Oct. 1 Lotto drawing were 13-16-25-28-35-36.
Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. The Lottery encourages anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help.
For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing. More information about other Lotto winners can be found in the "Meet Our Winners" section of the Lottery's Web site, www.louisianalottery.com.
