"I stopped to get gas and the cashier said someone in the area had won a large Powerball prize, so she printed the winning numbers for me," said Burgess. "Once I looked at them, I told her, 'I think that's me!'" His Powerball ticket, which was purchased at Dixie Mart #16 in Bossier City, matched all five of the white ball numbers, but missed the red Powerball to win $200,000. The winning numbers for the Aug. 16 drawing were 05-34-40-43-52 and the Powerball number was 20. Persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket.
