Vidalia Resident Wins "Extreme" Prize from Scratch-off Ticket

When Lonnie D. Barnett bought the last $5 Extreme Green scratch-off at Papa T's in Vidalia, he didn't think he would be heading to Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Alexandria regional office to claim one of the game's top prizes of $100,000.

"It just feels so good!" said Barnett, who said he will use his winnings to repair his house after it was damaged in a storm.

Extreme Green has three $100,000 prizes remaining as of June 4 and gives players a chance to win up to 15 times on each ticket.

Players must be at least 21 years old to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
