The Gift People Love to Return

This year's Louisiana Lottery holiday lineup of scratch-offs adds fun and excitement to the season. And they're just the gift for those who seem to have everything or are hard to please. After all, Lottery tickets are always the perfect size and color --they're the gift people love to return (to collect their winnings that is).

Along with being a great gift idea, there are many fun ways lottery tickets can be used during the holidays. They make great tree ornaments, gift tags, and stocking stuffers.

"I think players are going to be impressed by a new, specialized printing process that seamlessly incorporates the ticket graphics in the play area," said Susan Clayton, the Lottery's products director. The process allows colors on the scratch-off latex to be as vibrant as the regular ticket area."

Holiday games include:

Sneaux Claws($1), featuring a match-3 doubler play style with 52 winners of the $500 top prize and more than 130 doubled prizes.
Bah Humbucks ($2), featuring a key-number-match play style with 10 chances to win, 7 top prizes of $12,000 and over $1.7 million in total cash prizes.

The $5 Winner Wonderland ticket was immensely popular and sold quickly. As of Dec. 6, all top prizes in the game have been claimed, and the game has been closed. If you purchased the ticket as gift, don't worry. There are lots of other prizes in the game from a FREE $5 ticket up to $5,000 that can be claimed until April 5, 2006.
