Church Point Resident Claims a $30,000 Lucky Crossword Top Prize

Nancy Bean has a reason to smile after claiming a $30,000 top prize from a $3 Lucky Crossword scratch-off ticket.

For Nancy Bean of Church Point, it paid to follow her instincts. Bean purchased a Lucky Crossword scratch-off ticket while shopping with a family friend and won one of the game's $30,000 top prizes. 
  
"I purchased the ticket on an impulse," Bean exclaimed. "I was completely shocked to discover I won, but it feels absolutely wonderful."

Bean, age 56, purchased her top-prize winning ticket at Circle K #1713 on Johnston Street in Lafayette. She said she plans to use her winnings for "something fun." 

Lucky Crossword is a $3 scratch-off game from the Louisiana Lottery. It has one top prize of $30,000 remaining as of April 3.
