Spectators cheered Louisiana Lottery President Rose Hudson as she walked around downtown Baton Rouge on Friday, November 16. As a result of the Lottery reaching its United Way Campaign Stretch Goal of $4,400, President Hudson agreed to wear the Lottery's Powerball costume. This year's stretch goal exceeded the original target of $4,000. Both Lottery and Capital Area United Way employees accompanied her along the route handing out t-shirts and scratch-off tickets.

The walk started at 12 noon on Laurel Street and continued on Florida Street.
