"Life is good!" said Smith, age 95. Her ticket matched the four white ball numbers drawn plus the red Powerball number to win her prize. Smith purchased her winning ticket at Super Mart II on North Washington Street in Bastrop. The winning numbers for the Aug. 25 Powerball drawing were 2-8-23-29-35 and the Powerball number was 19. Louisiana Lottery players, like Smith, won a total of more than $2 million from that drawing. Persons must be at least 21 years old to purchase a Lottery ticket.
