Albert Hicks Jr of Hodge is pictured holding a "big check" for $25,000, his prize from the June 29 Pick 4 drawing.
Albert Hicks Jr of Hodge claimed $25,000 at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Monroe office as a result of five winning Pick 4 tickets from the June 29 drawing.

Hicks, age 70, played all of his numbers as "straight" sets, meaning his numbers had to match the numbers drawn in exact order to win $5,000 each, for a total of $25,000.

He purchased his winning ticket at Circle K #7773 on Old Winnfield Highway in Jonesboro.

"This is fantastic!" said Hicks, who plans to take a vacation with his winnings.
