Monroe Resident Wins $50,000 Cash Quest Jackpot

Terry Moore of Monroe claimed $50,000 at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Monroe office as a result of a winning Cash Quest jackpot ticket from the April 11 drawing.

"I'm speechless!" said Moore, age 48.  He said he plans to use his winnings to buy his wife a new car.

Moore purchased his winning ticket at Super Mart on Highway 165 North in Monroe, who will receive a $500 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Persons must be at least 21 years old to purchase a Lottery ticket. Anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem are encouraged to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867 for help.
