Andrea Ellison of Alexandria wouldn't describe herself as a football fan; instead, she calls herself a "Saints-ball" fan.  The self-proclaimed die-hard Saints fan will be enjoying plenty of "Saints-ball" this year after being selected from among 34,500 entries as the winner of the Louisiana Lottery's final New Orleans Saints 2011 second-chance drawing held May 1.

"My friend tried to tell me people never win contests like this," explained Ellison.  "I told her 'you definitely won't win if you don't even send your tickets in.' I'm just so excited!"

In addition to the four 2012 Plaza Sideline Saints season tickets, Ellison will also receive a 2012 parking pass, four 2012 pregame field passes, as well as a tour of the Saints practice facility and lunch with the Saints head coach in the team cafeteria for up to four people.

"I didn't even know about the second-chance drawings when I bought my first New Orleans Saints 2011 scratch-off," shared Ellison.  "I just bought it because I love the Saints and the Lottery."

Twenty-five official autographed merchandise winning entries were also selected during the drawing. Sue Callandret of Arnaudville, Felicia Medina of Slidell, Randy Yopp of Robeline, Mylekia Daniels of Homer, Sean Ranson of Gretna, Dana Barthelemy of Lockport, Joyce Issac-Thibodeaux of Lafayette and Jim Prejean of Houma each won an autographed Saints helmet.

Mark Mabile of Houma; Jarrod Snell of Bossier City; Bobby J. Dupre of Houma; Nathaniel Batiste of Vacherie; Gregory Jolivette of Lafayette; Beth Mercer of Abita Springs; Jennifer M. Moran of  Saucier, Miss.; James Timmons of Slidell; and Falona Harris of Clinton, Miss., each won an autographed Saints jersey.

Brent Trosclair of Slidell; Lou D. Elliott of West Monroe; Jacob Kilburn of Redwood, Miss.; Dustin Blocker of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; Herman Hamilton of Franklin; Debra Landeche of Mathews; Karen Francis of Fenton; and Kimberly Wilkins of Hammond each won an autographed Saints football.

The Lottery launched the $5 scratch-off New Orleans Saints 2011 as part of a strategic alliance with the New Orleans Saints. Nonwinning tickets from the game could be entered into two second-chance drawings administered by the Lottery for game-day tickets, autographed merchandise and more. The game closed on March 19 and players have until July 17 to claim any cash prizes from the game, in accordance with Lottery policy.

Lottery ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is available by calling 1-877-770-7867. For security purposes, the Lottery encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
