Plaquemine Resident Declared Winner of Second Saints Second-Chance Drawing

Plaquemine resident Earl Comeaux and his wife love to attend Saints games, but they have always watched from afar. On Oct. 24, though, they will get to see the Saints take on Cleveland with pregame field passes and Club Sideline seats after winning a 2010 Saints Prize Package, the second awarded this year by the Louisiana Lottery.

"We've always wanted to go on the sideline, and they (passes) are hard to get so we are glad to have the chance to get those," said the 54-year-old Comeaux.

Comeaux won the prize when his nonwinning World Champions New Orleans Saints scratch-off was randomly selected from more than 36,000 second-chance drawing entries.  In addition to four Club Sideline tickets with clubroom access and pregame field passes, Comeaux will also receive a parking pass, one night hotel accommodations (two rooms), a $200 dinner allotment and $500 spending cash.

Nine finalists were also selected during the second Saints second-chance drawing. Sandra Marie Duffau of Mandeville, Bill Chrismon of Mandeville and Laurie Cranford of Denham Springs each won an official autographed Saints helmet. Martial Fauteux of Bush, Emma Brandon of Bastrop and Kyla Clement of Thibodaux each won an official autographed Saints football. Brandy Reavis of Pearl River, Elizabeth Granier of St. Amant and Gary Thomas of New Orleans each won an official autographed Saints jersey.

The Lottery reminds players that the entry deadline for its third World Champions New Orleans Saints second-chance drawing is Monday, Nov. 8.

During the next second-chance drawing, nine finalists will either win an official Saints autographed helmet, football or jersey. One winner will be selected to win a 2010 Saints Prize Package that includes four Club Sideline tickets to the Saints vs. St. Louis game on Dec. 12 in the Superdome, access to a Saints VIP Clubroom at that game, a parking pass, four pregame field passes, one-night accommodations at a downtown New Orleans hotel (two rooms), a $200 dinner allotment at a designated downtown New Orleans restaurant for four people and $500 spending cash.

To enter the second-chance drawings, players should complete the information on the back of nonwinning $5 World Champions New Orleans Saints scratch-off tickets and mail one ticket per envelope no larger than 4.5" by 9.5" to the drawing address printed on the back of the ticket. The entry must arrive at the second-chance drawing address by the Nov. 8 deadline to be entered into the second drawing; otherwise, it will be entered into the fourth and final drawing. Players can enter as many times as they wish, but each entry should be mailed in a separate envelope.

"Don't throw your tickets away. Turn them in. You could win," reminds Comeaux.
