Metairie Resident Claims $200,000 Powerball Prize
Camile Anthony Kelley of Metairie claimed a $200,000 prize at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's New Orleans office as a result of a winning Powerball ticket from the March 31 drawing.
"I am stunned!" said Kelley, age 85. He said he doesn't have any plans for his winnings yet. "It's just wonderful to win."
Kelley's ticket matched all five white balls drawn but not the red Powerball to win his prize.
He purchased his winning ticket at Murphy Discount on Transcontinental Drive in Metairie. The winning numbers for the March 31 Powerball drawing were 2-5-16-36-40 and the Powerball number was 36.
